JivanamAsteya.org I General Refund Policy

Donations processed successfully through the payment gateway will not be refunded. Please choose the cause you wish to support where you can specifically mention or communicate the same with us, and the amount you wish to contribute carefully. No amount will be deducted in case the transaction fails to process. No donation is small when it comes to helping the disadvantaged section of our society. Let us get on with giving.

JIVANAMASTEYA Donation Refund Polic in SPECIAL CASE (That is approved by Management)

JIVANAMASTEYA takes the utmost care to process donations as per the instructions are given by our donors, online and offline. However, in a case of an unlikely event of an erroneous donation or, if the donor would like to cancel his donation under special circumstances approved by Jivanamasteya, JIVANAMASTEYA will respond to the donor within 7 working days of receiving a valid request for a refund from the donor. The timely refund of the donation will depend upon the type of credit card/banking instrument used during the transaction. The donor will have to send JIVANAMASTEYA TRUST a written request for a refund within 3 business days from making the donation to JIVANAMASTEYA’s official address or email info@jivanamasteya.org along with-
1. Proof of the deduction of the donation amount.
2. In cases where the donation receipt has already been issued to the donor, the donor will have to return the original receipt to us at our office addresses.
3. If the tax exemption certificate is already issued, then we are sorry but we will not be able to refund the donation. However, in a case of a valid refund request due to any error on JIVANAMASTEYA’s part, JIVANAMASTEYA will refund the donation and bear the costs of the same.

4. If  refund is approved, expenses will be deducted if any.

Project Karnav Program I Refund Policy

Please keep in mind when you may a payment, it is not for our profit and we do not make profit. we are non for profit. you can join our free forum for free support where you do the process and expenses. However to provide professional level support, team work and positive influence and effect in your matter, we have organized all resources at one place that incur us a costs, which we ask you to pay for the expenses of your own case. Irrespective of the result, when you provide expenses costs to us under membership plans, it use it and we cannot get it back. You should not expect us to pay you back. When we act in your matter and applies expensive resources, we make sure you get response. However, it does not mean you get response as you desired or want. We do not give justice as that is a part of judiciary and law makers. We put best efforts for positive change, response so you get heard and we also monitor things go in right direction. We work without bias. Do understand, when you think someone is wrong, then that is decided under the law. When you believe someone is wrong and we should force opposite party for outcome as per your desire, that is crime and against our own core values.

If you are dissatisfied with the Project Karnav Support (www.jivanamasteya.org), (“Project Karnav” is an initiative of a Jivanam Asteya which is an NGO/NPO Registered Under The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, Registration Number: E/7385/surat AND Registered under Section 12AA of The Income Tax Act, 1961, Government of India.) request a refund from us within 03 days of filing your complaint provided you give us a reasonable explanation for your dissatisfaction. Based on the matrix of your complaint, we will be offering you a refund after making appropriate deductions. (We will only deduct taxes if we have collected on behalf of Government such as Service Tax etc.) Please note that NO refund will be processed in cases where beneficiary (you) provides wrong information or withholds important/relevant information related to the complaint. If we act and resolve issues and utilize resources and then you demand refund, the same will not be approved, as when the purpose of membership (non profit) is achieved, refund is not provided, which is fair.

After 3 days, during anytime after the completion of procedure under the plan and waiting time and necessary follow-up time under the law, if you get no call from redressal agency or parties or person such as police, government or opposite party it will be considered non-redressal and you can ask for money back anytime for the amount that you have paid, however, such process need procedure time + Waiting Time (we will update in ticket time to time about it) + courier waiting time + waiting time as per law + final procedure or waiting time. If you have doubt you can ask for clarification on info@jivanamasteya.org. Without allowing us time to follow up end to end, Money-back Guarantee on non-redressal guarantee clause will not apply. This refund facility is not available in an Essential plan as we do not get an opportunity for strategic planning to create response or impact. we will compensate 100% amount paid by you towards expenses under the non profit membership plan, if after following due process of plan, no response is achieved.  (Except Tax Amount If any) We use our donation pool to compensate and bear loss, as we want to encourage citizens to raise voice for reforms in country. This guarantee applies on all of our plans but Not Applicable on Essential, PICR Plans and when specifically mentioned on invoice or under your ticket. Please Read FAQ for Detail.

After a prolonged procedure, if you behave rudely or commit any offense against us or violate our legal policies not lawful, we are not liable to refund your payment, further we may cease our support for the violation. WE experience threats and defamation many times when fighting or supporting genuine case, and we draw line to the limit we can bear. 

If refund approved, it might take up to 7 days to release + bank transfer time.

As an NGO/TRUST we do not sell product or services to you, and if charge any, it is too meet expenses on your behalf and to meet administrative costs. We do not make a profit. We do not engage in business activities with you. Hence we do not fall in purview of Consumer Protection Act, 1986. If you read word service, it only means support on a non-profit base. When we refund you the payment/donation made by you, it incurs a loss to us which we bear as an NGO in the best public spirit to encourage people to escalate their grievance.  The payment you make against any non-profit membership plan is only cover expenses when expenses go beyond; we utilise our resources. Consumer petition must be filed with yourself, and it does not cover under any plan except you have correctly chosen specific plan like PICR. If you have a grievance against us, write in a letter to our office address at JivanamAsteya.org, 10/D, Shri Kunthunath tower, Umra, Surat 395007, Gujarat. Send by Registered post, ensure we get a hand to hand delivery duly signed by the postman. If you send us notice or letter which we do not receive duly acknowledged by us, will be considered null and void, except otherwise it is confirmed from our end. Sometimes a notice/letter is dropped down the building which never delivered to our office. 

All disputes are subject to surat jurisdiction. 

Startup Entrepreneur Program I Refund Policy

Startup Entrepreneur” is an initiative of a Jivanam Asteya – Center for International Peace and Conflict Studies which is an NGO/NPO Registered Under The Bombay Public Trust Act 1950, Registration Number: E/7385/surat AND Registered under Section 12AA of The Income Tax Act, 1961, Government of India.

·  For the SEGP – Startup Entrepreneur Guarantee Program, a refund will be offered only if the business is not started and operationalized through mentorship and coaching. If entrepreneur default at compliance or starting or operationalizing business, no refund can be paid.

·  For online services (quick services to the entrepreneur), 3 days money back guarantee is offered from the date and time of payment.

·  For coaching and mentoring services, a refund will be as per the individual agreement signed with an entrepreneur or individual.

·  For SEFP Program, 3 Days Money back guarantee is offered from the date and time of payment.

·  If any government or other expenses incurred, it will be deducted from the refund.

·  We do not charge Application and initial Coaching Charges before selection for SEGP and SEFP program, however, for any reason, if a refund is approved, INR 2500/- will be deducted against Admission, Application, and Mentoring Charge.
