Our Free Legal Aid Services are dedicated to providing individuals facing legal challenges with the support they need to navigate the complexities of the legal system. What is included
Following NALSA Guidelines:
We follow the guidelines set by the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) to apply availing the following services:
- Representation by an Advocate: Legal representation in civil and criminal matters for those who cannot afford the services of a lawyer.
- Payment of Legal Expenses: Covering process fees, expenses of witnesses, and other charges related to legal proceedings.
- Document Preparation: Assistance in preparing pleadings, memos of appeal, and other necessary legal documents.
- Access to Certified Copies: Provision of certified copies of judgments, orders, and other documents.
- Aid and Advice: Helping beneficiaries access welfare statutes and schemes framed by the Central and State Governments.
- Coordination and Application Assistance: Assisting citizens in filling out application forms and providing necessary coordination to ensure access to justice.
Our support align with the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, which defines “legal services” to include any service in the conduct of any case or other legal proceeding before any court or other authority or tribunal, and the giving of advice on any legal matter. We operate independently but adhere to these principles to ensure the best support for our beneficiaries.
Apart from above, our NGO may provide additional assistance in escalation, grievance redressal, monitoring grievances, drafting, follow up case to case basis in the interest of justice, and making justice accessible for all.
