JIALD is a selective program for interns, volunteers, and students who are passionate about creating positive change in the world. It is a flagship program of the Jivanamasteya Trust, a non-profit organization committed to empowering impactful leaders who can drive positive change beyond their communities and borders.

Who is eligible to apply for the internship program?

School students and other candidates with appropriate recommendation and request letters are welcome to apply if they meet our requirements. Grade 9th-12th, undergraduate or post graduate degree and other competent candidates having life experience may be eligible for our internship programs. 

What is the duration of the internship?

Internships range from 15 days to 3 year.

Are internships paid?

No, internships with our NGO are unpaid.

For certain positions, we offer paid internships, which are advertised on our website.

Is the certificate globally recognized?

Yes, our certificates are globally recognized and valid for visa, immigration, and employment purposes.

What projects will interns work on?

Interns work on impactful projects in areas such as children’s welfare, women’s empowerment, legal aid, technology development, and more.

How can I apply?

Is the internship open to international applicants?

Yes, international applicants who meet the criteria can apply. Do ensure all necessary documentation, approvals and visa formalities are in place before applying to Jivanamasteya Trust. Please share your documents and permissions to initiate the process at Jivanamasteya Trust.

What's the difference between an internship and volunteering?

Internships provide structured learning and professional development, while volunteering focuses on support without formal training.

What impact can interns make?

Interns can significantly impact children’s and women’s welfare, human rights, entrepreneurship, livelihood, education, poverty and hunger and technology development.

Do you provide accommodation?

We are happy to help with finding accommodations, but due to limited resources, we cannot provide stay-related arrangements.

What are the working hours?

Working hours are flexible and can include remote, offline, and online work. It is advised to have transportation arrangements made.

Do you offer work from home?

While we have some research work elements that can be done remotely, our primary goal is to give you maximum exposure to our work environment and provide ample opportunities to create a positive impact. Therefore, work-from-home is not encouraged.

Hi this is ashika from parul institute of law , I worked as a jr.law researcher in Jivanamasteya Trust NGO for the internship under the bestest guidance of karnav sir and Meera ma'am , I think I have wouldn't worked in such a atmosphere where you can work , how you like as a family. I felt honoured by doing internship under jivanamasteya.
I connected with Jivanamasteya regarding the refund from the builder/S cube promoters ooty. NGO provided Excellent support and guidance throughout the negotiation period and consumer case filling/Evidence/Arguments stages.My case is applied in Bangalore 2nd additional consumer forum case number : CC/244/2023.Today i received my order for the refund and we really appreciate NGO team for their help & Valuable guidance for such results in short span of time.God Bless Jivanamasteya team for their significant contribution in legal services & help for the needy.Special Thanks to "Karnav".
