Welcome to the fundraising campaign for Jivanamasteya Trust (“जीवानाम्‌स्तेय”), a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing some of India’s most pressing social issues. Founded by Karnav Shah and inspired by his daughters, Cherry (Naomi) and Kiwi (Daomi), our trust works tirelessly to support children’s rights, family welfare, women’s empowerment, human rights, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, education, and healthcare. With your generous support, we aim to make a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Jivanamasteya Trust is committed to creating a brighter future for children and families in India. We focus on providing education, nutrition, legal aid, and protection against abuse and trafficking. Our initiatives have already impacted numerous lives through direct support and partnerships with organizations like Zomato – Feeding India and Vitamin Angels. This campaign aims to raise funds to continue and expand our efforts, ensuring that more children receive the care and opportunities they deserve. Your contribution will help us reach our goal of supporting 350 children, providing them with the resources they need to thrive.

The funds raised through this campaign will be utilized to:

1. Children’s Education, Nutrition, and Legal Rights:

• • Education: INR 1,500 per year for tuition fees, free education, and skill-based training.
  • Nutrition: INR 300 per year for multivitamin nutritional supplies.
  • Meal Kits: INR 300 per month, totaling INR 3,600 per year for each child.
  • Legal Aid: INR 800 per year for children in conflict with the law, covering legal and paralegal expenses.

2. Support for Families:

• • Provide essential healthcare, nutritional supplements, and meal kits to families in need.
  • Ensure continuous support and monitoring to prevent children from falling back into vulnerable situations.

In total, INR 6,200 will support one child for a year, helping us reach 242 children. We also aim to negotiate better rates with vendors and seek additional support from local donors to benefit 350 children.

Children in India face severe threats from trafficking, domestic abuse, and inadequate access to education and healthcare. These issues lead to long-term physical and psychological harm, hinder their development, and trap them in cycles of poverty. Addressing these challenges requires substantial resources, legal intervention, and comprehensive support services.
